Just wonderful. First, a task force on BOMB but none on the Death Eaters, and then excluding muggleborns from said task force. It's just so disheartening.
Any of us thinking of joining the task force? It might prove useful, but we'd have to be careful who did it. Apparently any 'supporters' of muggleborns would be watched like hawks, and which of us wants to be watched like hawks?

It's nice the weather perked up. I also feel like I shouldn't talk about the weather because many of the entries lately have been primarily about the weather probably because no one feels safe saying much else.
I'm doing some new things at work. It's good, it's nice to be working on a project, and it's a very interesting diagnostic process.

Thank goodness I didn't go shopping this morning, or even have a shift. I'm glad everything's under control, but I can't imagine. And the murders last night... Hopefully the Aurors can catch them this time.

Mary, Gideon mentioned he was bringing your journal tomorrow, so - I'm going to meet with Severus tomorrow, in Hogsmeade. I know, we haven't spoken in ages and I know who his friends are. But I will be fine, Severus would never hurt me, I just wanted to let you know... in case. I don't want to run into something like you did. If one of his friends were to find out... Please tell no one. I know this is a lot to ask, but I cannot have this getting back to James or Sirius. You know how those three are about each other, and I do not want to deal with their shite right now.

In case you were not made aware, the four injuries today were some of our own - Dorcas and Mary were injured, and Frank Longbottom and Sirius were injured protecting them. Mary is in very rough shape.
I went to see Mary today during my shift - she will pull through, I will make sure of it. She's in so much pain, but

One of our neighbors managed to send me a post - my sister is pregnant, due within a week of me. What a strange coincidence.
She also sent a copy of the paper. Eileen Snape is missing. This one I know wasn't Death Eaters. I should write again No, no, no, Lily, you tried and it failed. |
